Prices
The prices of the products shown on this website include IVA (VAT).
Packaging
Our cheeses (Parmigiano Reggiano, Tosone, Caciotta, Caciocavallo) are vacuum packed and wrapped in an outer packaging. The Elisirs come into glass jars; butter is wrapped in the typical paper sheets; mozzarella comes in special plastic bags with its preserving liquid; Ricotta and grated Parmigiano come in trays.
The most delicate products such as Ricotta, Mozzarella, butter and Caciotta necessarily require the purchase of Styrofoam packages, to ensure that the goods remain intact and in good conditions as they reach the customer. It wouldn’t be nice for you to open a package and find preservation liquid of mozzarella dripping everywhere, or see that Caciotta was shattered during transportation… And we would be really sorry as well!
A few products (yoghurt, desserts, Stracchino and Scamorza cuor di Ricotta) necessarily require the purchase of the Styrofoam box with ice to be consumed safely.
As one or more products requiring the purchase of the thermal packaging (regular or with ice) are added to your cart, packaging options will be automatically included.
Shipping
The deliveries are made by GLS couriers, in Italy and abroad.
PRICES
Prices vary according to the total weight of the products ordered:
• From 0 to 4,999 kg = 7 €
• From 5 to 9,999 kg = 8 €
• From 10 to 14,999 kg = 10,40 €
• From 15 to 19,999 kg = 11 €
• From 20 to 29,999 kg = 12,80 €
• From 30 to 49,999 kg = 18 €
• From 50 to 99,999 kg = 22 €
• 100 kg or more = 30,50 €
TRACEABILITY
Once the package is sent, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link through which you can track the shipment of your order.
Warranty policies
Damaged product: in case your order arrives broken or altered, or the package is open or visibly damaged, please do not accept the delivery and contact us immediately (phone +39 0525 5552003 - cell phone +39 3393211172; e mail: ilbattisterocaseificio@gmail.com: we will replace the products.
Right of withdrawal: According to the law, you can exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 working days from the date of delivery in one of the following ways:
- by sending a fax to +39 0525552003 or an email to ilbattisterocaseificio@gmail.com;
- by sending a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to Caseificio Sociale Il Battistero, Via Provinciale 94, 43040 Serravalle Ceno, Varano de’ Melegari, Parma.
Once you return intact, complete products in their original package, we will return the amount paid as soon as possible, through a credit transfer or with a non-transferable check.
You will only pay delivery charges.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure or clearly customized or products that, due to their nature, cannot be sent back, since they would otherwise be at risk of rapid deterioration or alteration.
