Olives and capers are the essence of Mediterranean cuisine. These two ingredients can add a special touch even to the simplest recipes. We added them to our Elisir to realise a product that goes beyond our Apennine mountains and takes you to the sunny seaside.
Several types of Parmigiano, each at a different level of maturation, are grated and mixed to combine sweetness and saltiness, then mixed with oil, chopped olives and chopped capers to create a creamy, homogeneous mixture in which it is still possible to feel the texture of the cheese.
Try it on bread, to enhance your “Pizzaiola” or “Puttanesca” recipes: quick, tasty, appealing.
